iMessage and how to use it?

Hello one and all,In today's post I will share with you the basic steps of how to use iMessage. You may heard of iMessage but do you know how to use it? It's basically like the normal SMS or other message sending applications like Whatsapp, kakaotalk, viber, fring etc. Apple releases iMessage in OS 5 and since been the major ways to send messages between Apple devices. iMessage is only available on Apple devices like BBM only available on all Blackberry devices.
So let's get started shall we? There are a growing number of ios users throughout the year. iMessage became one of the most important applications to connect them together. If you have a data connection and your recipient has iMessage too, the text colour will be in blue. Otherwise if you don't have the application or your recipient is a non iOS user, the text will be in green instead.
The best thing about iMessage is that you can receive the messages using your phone number or any email addresses that you link your iMessage account with it. For non-data connection phone (iPad,itouch versions etc) you still can send those messages but only will receive if they are connected to the wifi connection. You won't receive your iMessage if you are overseas with the Data connection off or wifi disabled.

To add more address simply click the "add another email" and you can add as many as you want.
After this you need to verify your account. Check your email which you sign up with Apple ID and "Verify Now" fill in the details and you are set to go.
You can either change your Caller ID to your email address or your phone number. Preferably you use your email as you can use the same email throughout all your other devices and get the messages all at once.
The rest are basically simple like how normally you will send a sms. Hence I will skip that part. Now the most important of all.
How to know if you have send iMessage or an SMS. If you sent the message as an iMessage, it appears in blue but if you sent it from an iPhone and it's gone as an SMS, it'll be green. To know whether your iMessages has been sent -there is a small word under the bubble "Read"
With iMessage you can send photos, videos, documents like how you send an MMS. It's exactly the same except it is FREE! There is an option not to receive a MMS if you're not connected to the Data Connection/Wifi.
Well if you want to learn more about how to use iMessage on your iPad , make sure to check this link below! I've tried it and personally I recommend you to try it too.
